Adam Pearce Confirms Andrade's Raw Signing and WWE Brand Choice

Andrade, formerly known as Andrade el Idolo in AEW, returned to WWE with a bang at the Royal Rumble. However, the mystery of his brand allegiance lingered.

The revelation unfolded on the January 29 episode of WWE Raw, featuring a backstage segment where SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis and Raw GM Adam Pearce courted the ‘top free agent’ with enthusiasm.

During this segment, Andrade officially aligned himself with the WWE Raw brand, sealing the deal by signing on the dotted line. This not only marked his return to WWE but also signaled his commitment to regular appearances on Raw.

In a playful moment, Andrade asked Aldis to send a ‘Hola!’ to Zelina Vega on SmackDown before making his exit. As Aldis and Pearce continued their competitive banter, Aldis had to leave abruptly as his phone rang—a call from Bron Breakker, the NXT star who left a lasting impression at the WWE Royal Rumble with a series of impactful eliminations.
