AEW announces the 12 stars who will compete in the Continental Classic

The venue for Continental Classic is set.

The previous Wednesday AEW president Tony Khan, Tony Schiavone, and ROH World and NJPW Strong Open weight Champion Eddie Kingston were on a live stream special to announce who will compete in the first Continental Classic tournament that kicks at 7:30 pm on Dynamite.

Kingston, Mark Briscoe, Andrade El Idola as well as Bryan Danielson previously declared for the tournament previously. The tournament will end on December 30, Worlds End pay-per-view event. The winners of the match earn three points, while draws give each wrestler participating who participates in the event one point.

A winner from the Continental Classic will become one champion by being the holder of the Triple Crown Championship as the ROH World and NJPW Strong Open weight titles are also included.

Wrestlers are divided into two different leagues, with gold and blue being the two main leagues. The following list of leagues:

Blue: Bryan Danielson, Claudio Castagnoli, Brody King, Andrade El Idola, Daniel Garcia, and Eddie Kingston.

Gold: Jon Moxley, Swerve Strickland, RUSH, Mark Briscoe, Jay Lethal, and Jay White.

The matches scheduled to be played this evening’s Dynamite include Moxley against. Briscoe, Strickland vs. Lethal and RUSH and. White. The collision matches on Saturday include Kingston against. King and Garcia vs. Castagnoli.
