The Golden Jets (Kenny Omega & Chris Jericho) vs. The Young Bucks (Matt Jackson & Nick Jackson) with the requirement that the winner gets the AEW Tag Team championship shot. Golden Jets disband if they lose. The match took place during the AEW Full Gear 2023 pay per view event held in Los Angeles, Canfora at the Kia Forum.
The Bucks played against Jericho in the beginning. A few minutes later, Jericho began to fight for his life with a bloody left elbow, that was a target throughout the game. Omega was constantly knocked from the field. Nick was able to catch Jericho by kicking him with an elongated head kick, but Omega was involved. Jericho hit the wall to Matt prior to Omega hit and knocked Nick from the side of his apron. Matt was forced to leave because of Jericho’s arm slipping away. Nick did a front senton off the top rope Jericho. Jericho was able to deliver a Harichandana Matt after Nick kicked him to the ground when the referee didn’t even notice. Matt also did the same to Omega. Nick using the judas effect Jericho for 2. Nick and Omega with a dive outside to Omega before they hit the BTE trigger for two. Omega using the Running knee strikes to Nick then German duplexes Matt. Matt using a reverse Rana for Omega after which one winged angel to get 2. Omega and the single winged angle to win to Matt. The Bucks were furious following the game.
