AEW Star Brody King believes the Continental Classic event is setting the standard for what is like in the AEW company.

In the 2nd edition of AEW Collision Brody King defeated Claudio Castagnoli to gain another three points, and six points total during the Blue League of the Continental Classic.

In the process, King made history as the very first wrestler in history to score six points and become 2-0 during the Blue League of the tournament.

The interview was part of the AEW special digital edition recorded after his win The House of Black member spoke with AEW cameras about winning and feeling undervalued ahead of the tournament. Brody declared:

“2-0. Eddie Kingston and Claudio Castagnoli, and I’m 2-0. The thing I like in this competition is the fact that we’re the team that sets the standards for this tournament in the many years to come.”

“The first class for the Continental Classic, to set the standard for how professional wrestling should be delivered in AEW from here on out.”

“Coming into this tournament, they said I wasn’t a single competitor, that I didn’t have the edge up because I’m used to being in trios and tag teams, and now I am 2-0 against two of the toughest people in this company.”

“Don’t underestimate me. Do not underestimate anyone during this tournament. Everyone is at risk. Be harder,”

Brody King is scheduled to fight Daniel Garcia in the Blue League of the AEW Continental Classic on the 9th December episode on Collision.
