A well-known AEW star and the current ROH Women’s World Champion Athena is making a surprise appearance at a show that is independent.
As reported previously, AEW International Champion Orange Cassidy appeared in a shocking fashion for the purpose of defending his championship at the 7-Way Race at the RevPro High Stakes 2024 on 17 February.
Additionally, AEW CEO Tony Khan as well as AEW World Tag Team Champion Darby Allin were also spotted in the crowd during the ceremony.
It appears that they’re not the only artists from the promotion that has been spotted on the scene of indie music this weekend.
On February 17, at the Wrestling Revolver show, ROH Women’s World Champion Athena was a surprise guest to fight Vert Vixen.
The attack happened in the wake of Vert Vixen defeated her husband Matthew Palmer twice in less than 10 minutes.
Athena is scheduled to fight for The ROH Women’s World title with Nyla Rose during a three out of three table match on February 22 episode on ROH TV on Honor Club.
Athena was at the evening’s Wrestling Revolver & attacked Vert Vixen for beating the partner Matthew Palmer twice in less than 10 minutes.
