AEW star files trademark for nickname

Ricky Starks has locked down the trademark rights to his name.

Starks’ journey
Starks was recognized in the NWA prior to joining AEW during the COVID-19 epidemic in 2020. He was part of Team Taz but eventually branched out to create an identity for himself.

Starks is currently an important player as an uppercard event players for the event. He holds his AEW Tag Team Championships along with Big Bill. They were awarded the titles on the 7th of October episode of Collision in which they defeated FTR (Dax Harwood ) and Cash Wheeler).

The word

The AEW star applied for trademark protection of the word ‘Absolute’ on the 29th of November in the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). The application was submitted by Michael E. Dockins on behalf of Dream Palace LLC.

“Mark For: ABSOLUTE(tm) trademark registration is intended to cover the categories of entertainment in the nature of wrestling contests; Entertainment services, namely, wrestling exhibits and performances by a professional wrestler and entertainer; Entertainment services, namely, live appearances by a professional wrestler and sports entertainer; Entertainment services, namely, personal appearances by a professional wrestler and sports entertainer; Entertainment services, namely, televised appearances by a professional wrestler and sports entertainer; Providing wrestling news and information via a global computer network; Providing online interviews featuring a professional wrestling and sports entertainment personality in the field of professional wrestling and sports entertainment for entertainment purposes.”
