AEW WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP CLAIMED BY HOOK IN A VICTORY AGAINST SAMOA JOE

In a high-stakes main event, HOOK, who had boldly called his shot on last week’s Dynamite, squared off against the reigning champion, Samoa Joe.

Despite HOOK’s spirited performance, he faced a series of powerful moves from Joe that seemed to put him at a disadvantage. However, HOOK’s resilience shone through when he kicked out of Joe’s Muscle Buster, staging a brief yet impressive comeback.

During a suspenseful moment, HOOK nearly turned the tide by attempting to lock Joe into his Redrum submission hold. Nevertheless, Joe exhibited his skill by skillfully reversing the hold and applying his own Coquina Clutch finishing move.

After HOOK failed to respond to his arm being raised three times, Samoa Joe secured the victory by referee decision, successfully retaining his championship.

Post-match, HOOK refused to stay down, challenging Joe twice before Hangman Adam Page made a timely run-in to prevent further altercations.

Notably, Swerve Strickland (accompanied by Prince Nana) loomed in the background, hinting at potential future clashes with Samoa Joe and Hangman Adam Page.
