An article in the news has suggested an allegedly long-signed WWE tag team could be scheduled to finally make their return to television’soon’.
Could it be finally taking place? The long-rumored return of a couple to WWE might actually be headed to the television screen’soon’, according to a report.
According to a recent report by Fightful Select, WWE fans may be seeing returning The Authors of Pain (AOP) Akam and Rezar in WWE.
Although the duo have been confirmed to be resigned by the studio in “at least a year and a half,” they have not yet made their appearance on screen.
Akam Rezar and Rezar first came together in June of 2016, and went on to become NXT Tag Team Champions and WWE Raw Tag Team Champions throughout their time with the WWE Raw company.
AOP was announced in September 2020 by WWE.
According to reports they are set to be back’soon and will likely to be part of their own SmackDown brand.
Another point: it seems like they’re planning to return with another famous person: Paul Ellering who appeared in the same duo’s NXT show.
