The former WWE celebrity and Mrs. Money In The Bank Aron Stevens says Cody Rhodes has always had an energy and determination to his.
In the years since Cody Rhodes’ WWE Return in 2022 Cody Rhodes has skyrocketed through the ranks to become the best babyface in the company.
In his prior stint with the organization there were some fans who began to recognize Cody’s breakthrough potential in his time working together with Damien Sandow in 2012 and 2013.
The duo dubbed “The Rhodes Scholars” feuded with Team Hell No’s Kane and Daniel Bryan (Bryan Danielson) over the WWE Tag Team Titles but they weren’t able to win the title.
In an interview with Chris Van Vliet on the Insight podcast, Sandow, also known as Aron Stevens, talked about teaming up together with Cody Rhodes. He said he’s always had determination and drive, Stevens said:
“Cody and I, we were would call us like of the whole of wrestling We were an under-rated tag team.”
“If you take a look at our actions, you’ll see the games we’ve played with a variety of individuals. We were tagged for a few minutes. We travelled together and all that did you do? Did you win any titles? I don’t think so. Miz and I did.”
“But it’s not true, Cody has always had the drive and determination in him.”
“I’m simply very, very content that he’s been determined and, again, taking the risks are his, and remaining true to his character. I think that’s wonderful.”
“Because as you observe an individual remain in their own identity regardless of what that truth might be because they’re the only ones to define it, however they’re able to attain the heights of what they’d like to be, and that’s amazing.”
Cody Rhodes is set to make an attempt to conclude his story by battling Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship at WrestleMania 40.
