Backstage news from WWE’s plans to CM Punk against. Roman Reigns
The list of matches that you’d like to see was in the minds of a number of fans who watched CM Punk’s return WWE during Survivor Series after being away from the WWE for more than 10 years. There’s a lot of new wrestlers to Punk to wrestle with moving forward.
First fight
It’s evident that WWE is preparing to Punk to face. World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins in the near future. That’s the reason Rollins was a bit agitated following Punk’s appearance on Survivor Series, flipping him off and cursed at Punk.
Rollins carried on the tale in a house show later that night. He even said in his promotional on Monday Night Raw two nights later that he would not be wasting time on Punk. Rollins knew before heading out along with fellow main eventers in Survivor Series that Punk was scheduled to appear following their match.
The big one
As previously published in Sports Illustrated, after Punk Vs. Rollins, the direction is Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns against. Punk.
In the most recent issue of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer said that the fans are waiting for long enough to watch Punk fight Roman Reigns.
Meltzer wrote “For currently it is planned to take quite a long time to reach the destination. There is a feeling that it will be huge when they decide to go there. If it leads to Paul Heyman going to Reigns to join Punk and Punk turning heel, or if it results in Punk going Reigns face it, as was the thought we heard that there were multiple methods to tackle that.”
Meltzer stated she believes that Cody Rhodes vs. Reigns and Rollins against. Punk are all viable options as possible matches for WrestleMania 40.
