The revelation of the tournament winner to determine the contender for WWE United States Champion Logan Paul at Royal Rumble 2024 has come to light.
During the opening match on tonight’s SmackDown, Santos Escobar confronted Kevin Owens in the tournament’s final round, seeking the chance to become the future challenger for Logan Paul’s title at the Royal Rumble.
At the match’s commencement, the LWO (Cruz del Toro and Joaquin Wilde) rushed in to eliminate Humberto Carrillo and Angel Garza, leaving Escobar to navigate the challenge alone.
In a fiercely competitive bout, Kevin Owens emerged victorious, officially securing the Royal Rumble match.
However, Logan Paul’s attempt to grab the microphone for some trash talk was met with Owens’ formidable punch, broken hand and all, resulting in Logan Paul being laid out and concluding the segment.
After the commercial break, Logan Paul was spotted backstage, where Cathy Kelly was attempting an interview, but her efforts were disrupted by Austin Theory and Grayson Waller.
These well-known Kevin Owens critics promptly ushered him away, stressing the need for medical attention and ensuring distance from her.
Meanwhile, Cameron Grimes disrupted the trio in the same hallway, deriving amusement from the misfortunes of the social media star and drawing the ire of Grayson Waller.
In the upcoming WWE SmackDown on January 12, Grimes and Waller are slated to clash in a match, and the LWO will face off against Carrillo and Garza.
