Becky Lynch has opened up about a rivalry that was dominant for most of 2023 and called the last game of the series one of her top picks in her whole career.
Beginning at WrestleMania 39, which took place in April through Payback from September to WrestleMania 39, The Man was involved in a screen position with one the greatest women WWE superstars Trish Stratus.
From teaming up and competing in a variety of one-on-one battles, the fracas ended in a steel cage game at Payback it was the first such event for Stratus throughout her long and successful career.
The fight and the feud in general are widely regarded as one of the top 2023 events for the company according to fans, a belief which is shared by Lynch who recently spoke about the event and his work with the Hall of Famers throughout the year, in his appearance on Casual Show featuring Brad Tate.
Lynch stated:
“I believe it’s an experience that’s a of a shock having been an admirer of someone and then getting to collaborate with them. It was amazing.
We’ve always said that she’s among the best of all time and she proved it with her work ethic and awe-inspiring attitude.
I’m so satisfied with the cage fight we enjoyed at Payback. I believe it’s among my top matches I’ve had in my life and it was a great privilege to have that experience with Trish the Stratus.”
Although we not seen Stratus since Payback was announced, she’s being listed in the category of Raw star on the WWE roster page. She has teased an upcoming event in 2024.
For Lynch her 2024, she got off to a difficult start when she fell against Nia Jax during a bitter match that took five years creating at the Day 1 version of Raw (January 1).
