Behind the Scenes: Will Ospreay Shares Insights on Trent Seven's TNA Contract

Impact Wrestling (soon to be TNA Wrestling) announced that Trent Seven had signed with the company in Final Resolution, and his colleague Englishman Will Ospreay jumped on X (formerly Twitter) to express his happiness.

“Extremely happy for @trentseven his mind for the business is brilliant but his passion is greater,” Ospreay wrote. “TNA is the perfect place for him to reapply his trade and reinvent himself. Best of luck boss.”

Ospreay is himself a professional wrestler who has been making a few appearances with Impact Wrestling as of late and is scheduled to appear in the forthcoming Snake Eyes Show. The company was believed to be keen on signing the wrestler as his contract in New Japan Pro-Wrestling runs out in the coming year, however, Ospreay chose to sign with All Elite.

Seven came out as a surprise guest at the most recent PPV to join forces along with “Speedball” Mike Bailey as they took on the Rascalz’s Trey Miguel and Zachary Wentz and got his experience at the company going off with a bang. Scott D’Amore then hit the rings to give him a contract which he subsequently signed afterward.

Seven – most well-known by the Mustache Mountain partnership alongside Tyler Bate worked for a number of years in WWE from 2016 to 2022, both in “WWE NXT UK” and “WWE NXT.” In that time, he and Bate were the holders of titles in the “NXT” Tag Team titles and also the “NXT UK” versions, however, Seven was removed in 2022. Since then, he has been sporadic in appearances with AEW however he has been working in an independent circuit.
