“Eddie Kingston physically is as tough as nails. You can see it all the time he poured all his heart every time he fights. He’s not as tough is his mental. The thing is, you’re required to be both,”

“Bad things will take place in tournaments such as that of the Continental Classic. Things that are bad will occur.”

“I broke my bone on the outside of my orbit in 2 locations. My vision is blurry. I injured my arm in June, and I don’t have all the strength in my arm. If you’re not tough mentally, you’ll use every excuse to lose,”

“Last week Eddie Kingston said, “Humble when you win and humble in defeat. It’s creating the conditions for defeat. I won’t be defeated.”

Bryan continued to announce everyone at the tournament, including his family members Bryan continued to call out everyone in the tournament, stating:

“This is my final full-time professional year as a wrestler. When I return, I contemplate after each match to seal everything that I am feeling out there.”

“The one sport I am passionate about more than everything else, besides my family. The thrill of winning as well as the pain of getting struck, everything is there, and everything is secured,”

“There is not a man in the Continental Classic, not my foes like Eddie Kingston, not my friends like John Moxley and Claudio Castagnoli, there’s not a man in the Continental Classic that is tougher mentally or tougher physically than me.”
