Former WCW star explains his recent arrest
The former WCW Star Marcus “Buff” Bagwell” uploaded a video to YouTube to discuss his arrest. The Georgia Gazette’s report on his arrest states that Bagwell was detained for an DUI however Bagwell stated that he’s in day 446 of sobriety.
Bagwell stated that it’s difficult to handle emotions once you’re no longer consuming drugs and now have been “forced” to deal with it. Bagwell said that since the fact that he’s clean, his temper has become out of control, and there have been “a couple of setbacks” in the DUI program due to his temperament.
He said that the last time the trip was over, he did not record where he was when it was at the Dallas airport. He also said that his anger got him in trouble. That’s when the word came out that he had did relapse, however the fact was that he didn’t and what transpired is that “it was a DUI court sanction.” He added, “I’m really having to deal with my temper for the first time in my life and it’s really tough.”
Bagwell stated that “I may be going to jail for my temper” But he hasn’t relapsed and is now sober and clean. Bagwell thanked Diamond Dallas Page, Steve Yu and the staff from DDP Yoga for helping him to get clean and back into the gym after suffering from an addiction that lasted for 20 years. ”
