Bully Ray’s Challenge to WWE: Is It Time for CM Punk to Walk the Same Path as Roman Reigns?

WWE Hall of Famer Bully Ray thinks that WWE is already in danger of exposing too much CM Punk in the days following Punk returned to WWE in Survivor Series: WarGames. The show “Busted Open Radio,” Bully declared that he loved the exchange with Seth Rollins and CM Punk however, he wants to ensure that WWE will make the fight between the two as memorable as it can be.

“I think they should be very careful. I think they should treat Punk like a mini version of Roman [Reigns] when it comes to his matches right now because that match against Seth will mean that much more if we only get a few Punk matches along the way,” Bully stated. “They might have to throw somebody in Punk’s way before Rollins.” Bully reminisced about the brief, lighthearted conversations that Punk performed with backstage Ricochet, Chad Gable, and Kofi Kingston in addition to The Judgment Day.

“Why is this on my TV right now? I didn’t need to see CM Punk in that scene,” Bully declared. “I don’t know why I need to see Punk back there.” Former TNA World Champion thinks WWE has already provided fans with more Punk than what he believes fans require right now.

“I want all killer and no filler,” Bully continued. “When I see Punk, it should mean something.”

CM Punk is scheduled to wrestle for the first time in WWE for nearly 10 years on December 30, at an WWE live event at the Kia Forum in Inglewood, California He’ll be taking on The Judgment Days’ Dominik Mysterio.
