Butch is a WWE star who ended an unfortunate SmackDown loss streak by winning his brand’s first televised game in many months.
The show on Friday, January 5, was advertised as Butch and his mystery partner taking on Pretty Deadly.
Butch revealed that his tag-team partner is Tyler Bate. Tyler Bate was a former British Strong Style competitor and NXT teammate of Butch.
Butch was also the winner, despite Tyler Bate’s big win.
Butch was the first person to win a SmackDown match since 30 June, when he defeated LA Knight in a triple match and Santos Escobar.
Butch isn’t completely winless in the past six month. The popular superstar has scored victories on NXT TV as well as on dark matches and house shows.
Butch failed to win despite appearing on SmackDown TV once a month since June.
