Swerve Strickland has exchanged shoots along with an AEW star prior to their final game in the AEW Continental Classic.
The AEW Continental Classic is preparing to close its group stage, with final match in both the Gold as well as the Blue Leagues in the coming installments of Dynamite and Collision.
With nine points total and a record of 3-1 during the competition, Swerve Strickland will face RUSH on the 20th day of December version of AEW Dynamite. RUSH has six points and has an overall record of 2-2.
On the 17th of December RUSH posted on his social network to share a video of his final match against Strickland from their time together in MLW. The caption read:
You’ve developed as a wrestler from when we last met and I beat you easily.
We’ll see us again in #AEW. I will remind you that you’re an infant, and I am your father.
I will prove to the world who is the true star

Swerve Retweeted to express his opinion on his forthcoming Continental Classic opponent, writing:

The RUSH team quickly reacted by letting Strickland be aware that he’s been in worse places as Swerve has been, writing:
It’s true I’ve never been where you’ve been, or done what you’ve done.
I’ve been to the most dangerous places, in more violent environments, and I have done more than you’ve ever without speaking English.

If Swerve is able to defeat RUSH the runner-up will advance into an Gold League Final on the 27th of December in AEW Dynamite.

The other side of the Gold League Final will be decided by the time Jon Moxley faces Jay White on Wednesday, December 20, episode of AEW Dynamite.
The AEW Continental Classic Finals will be held on the 30th of December, in the afternoon of AEW Worlds End.
