After her dramatic rescue of Bayley from Damage CTRL during the latest edition of SmackDown, Dakota Kai has finally broken her silence on the matter.
On the February 2 episode of SmackDown, Bayley found herself targeted by Asuka, Kairi Sane, and IYO SKY. Undeterred, Bayley boldly challenged Women’s Champion IYO SKY to a match at WrestleMania 40.
Although Dakota Kai was not present during Bayley’s defiant stand, she made her presence felt on the February 9 episode of SmackDown.
Interrupting Bayley, Kai addressed the dissolution of the group before taking action to protect her friend. Armed with a steel chair, Kai thwarted the advances of Asuka, Sane, and SKY as they closed in on the ring.
In the midst of the chaos, there was a tense moment where it appeared Kai might strike Bayley with the chair. However, she refrained, realizing it was just the two of them in the ring.
Taking to Twitter, Kai reaffirmed her loyalty to Bayley with a brief message:
“BayKota 4 eva”
As Bayley prepares to challenge IYO SKY for the WWE Women’s Championship at WrestleMania 40 on April 6-7, fans eagerly anticipate the showdown.
Since suffering an ACL injury in May 2023, Kai has been sidelined from competition in the ring.
