PW Insider has reported they have learned that Drew McIntyre stormed out of the ring following his Wargames match. It happened moments prior to CM Punk’s music began to play. McIntyre is reported to have stormed into the backstage area, where he slammed the door to his locker. He then put his hoodie on and left the arena.
It was reported that it was clear to all in the audience that McIntyre was upset, however, there’s no explanation for the reason. In the video below, McIntyre could be seen looking at his eyes. It’s unclear if the man was seriously injured or if he was simply selling. What is certain was that McIntyre was so furious when he reached the back of the store that it turned into an “loud and obvious situation” that was viewed by many people.
In a related observation, McIntyre and WWE have not reached an agreement on a new agreement. PW Insider said this weekend that McIntyre would like to let his contract run out to allow him to spend more time spending time with his children in Scotland as the WWE schedule permits him to visit his family for short durations of time.
