“Dune: Part Two” featuring Dave Bautista has release date moved up

Dune: Part Two is coming earlier

 

 

The fans won’t have to wait as long as they originally thought to watch the action-packed “Dune: Part Two,” with Dave Bautista. The upcoming WWE Hall of Famer plays Glossup Rabban, the savage cousin baron Harkonnen.

Javier Bardem, Josh Brolin, Oscar Isaac, Zendaya, Stellan Sarsgaard, and Jason Momoa return to the franchise with these roles that they played in the initial film. Austin Butler, Florence Pugh, Christopher Walken, and Lea Seydoux have joined the team for the sequel.

Villeneuve along with Jon Spaihts wrote the film that was produced through Mary Parent, Cale Boyter, Patrick McCormick, Denis Villeneuve as well as Tanya Lapointe.

The synopsis

The film’s first installment earned 402 million dollars in the theater. Here’s the synopsis of the film. Denis Villeneuve directs:

“Paul Atreid’s reunites together with Chani as well as the Freemen in pursuit of revenge against the people who killed his family. In the middle of a decision between his love for the relationship he has with his beloved and the destiny of the universe, Paul must avoid a bleak future that he cannot foresee.”

The movie was originally scheduled to premiere in theaters the 3rd of November, 2023 after which it was pushed back to February 15, 2024 because of the effects of the strike by SAG-AFTRA. It will release on March 1, 2024. The trailer can be viewed here:
