Released by WWE in September 2023 amid a series of cuts following the TKO merger, Mustafa Ali wasted no time in announcing his World Tour Campaign in December. The campaign aimed to showcase his wrestling skills across various promotions worldwide.

Since departing from WWE, Ali has swiftly made a name for himself on the independent circuit. Notably, he has secured spots in upcoming events for TNA and New Japan Pro Wrestling, showcasing the diversity of his talents.

Taking to social media on January 30, Mustafa Ali expressed his gratitude for the overwhelming response to his campaign. He pointed out that every show he participated in over the past month had sold out, breaking attendance records for multiple promotions. Ali also emphasized the importance of his “strategic alliances” with TNA and NJPW, stating:

“Within a month: consecutive sold-out shows, record-breaking attendance, strategic alliances with TNA and NJPW, and most importantly, providing you with a reason to believe that IN ALI WE TRUST. @nathersonn”

Looking ahead, Mustafa Ali is scheduled to face Hiromu Takahashi on April 12 at NJPW Windy City Riot. Additionally, he made a impactful debut for TNA with a video message on the January 25 edition of TNA iMPACT!
