After his recent loss at AEW Worlds End, former AEW TNT Champion Adam Copeland has finally spoken out, sharing a striking photo of a severe injury sustained during the match on Instagram.
Captioning the intense image, Copeland wrote, “It’s not a tumah! Now the work starts on becoming a 2-time TNT Champion.” Despite the event being just over 24 hours old, Copeland had already broken his silence on Instagram, posting a picture of himself with the TNT Championship he briefly held before an unexpected second match.
Expressing his disappointment, Copeland shared, “And Newwww…until I wasn’t. Contrary to this photo, last night did not go as planned.” The unexpected turn of events occurred when Killswitch (fka Luchasaurus) decided to cash in his earlier earned opportunity from the Zero Hour pre-show, influenced by the ‘Patriarch’ Christian Cage.
In the end, Killswitch relinquished his title shot to Christian Cage, who successfully reclaimed the TNT Championship from Adam Copeland. Unfortunately, Copeland now holds the record for the shortest-ever TNT Championship title reign.
