The Rock made a highly anticipated return to WWE and engaged in a heated exchange with Jinder Mahal, concluding with his iconic People’s Elbow move.

After the segment, The Rock teased the prospect of a face-off with Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns, also known as “The Head of the Table.”

During an appearance on WWE’s The Bump, Jinder Mahal was asked about The Rock’s motives, and he humorously replied, “He wanted to take away my spotlight [laughs]. That’s the only thing that I can think of.”

Expanding on his response, Mahal explained, “He wanted to take away the spotlight. He saw that I was getting the spotlight. I was speaking the truth, I was speaking facts. I believe I didn’t say anything wrong. But there he is, the Great One. But I have a feeling this is not the last time me and The Rock will be in the ring together.”

Jinder Mahal is gearing up for a WWE World Heavyweight Championship challenge against Seth Rollins on the upcoming January 15 episode of Monday Night Raw.

The Rock also shared his thoughts on working with Jinder Mahal during the “Day One” segment.
