Former WWE Star and Saraya Share a Reunion Behind the Scenes of AEW Dynamite

Following in the footsteps of her AEW colleagues Bryan Danielson and Adam Copeland, former AEW Women’s World Champion Saraya is relishing a second lease on her wrestling career in All Elite Wrestling. Apart from her in-ring exploits, AEW’s extensive cross-country touring has afforded Saraya the opportunity to reconnect with old friends.

In recently shared pictures on X (formerly Twitter), Saraya emotionally reunited with her former WWE compatriot Vix Crow, known as Alicia Fox during her WWE tenure. The two shared a longstanding partnership, having graced the ring together more than 75 times in “WWE NXT” and on the main roster, as documented by Cagematch.

Captioning the heartwarming reunion, Saraya expressed, “Sober sisters! So thrilled to be reunited with my girl [Vix Crow]. She looks as beautiful as ever and still possesses a heart of gold.”

Both Saraya and Crow have faced their battles with addiction. Crow openly addressed her struggles with alcohol addiction in 2019, a period that included an incident where she reportedly wrestled under the influence at a WWE house show, leading to the termination of WWE producer Arn Anderson. Saraya, too, confronted addiction issues with drugs and alcohol during and after her WWE career. Her journey to recovery, spanning many years, proved pivotal, even salvaging her role in the major motion picture “Fighting With My Family.” Saraya, now in long-term recovery, attributes her transformed AEW persona to her newfound maturity, underscoring her sobriety as a crucial factor in reshaping her life and perspective.
