Riddle’s exit from WWE, amidst a wave of releases, garnered attention. Despite the controversies surrounding his departure, the ex-UFC star has embraced his newfound freedom, showcasing his talents in promotions like NJPW and MLW.
Speculation swirled regarding Riddle’s potential move to TNA, particularly given the promotion’s history of signing former WWE talents. Notable names like Dolph Ziggler and Dana Brooke have already made the transition.
Though Riddle hasn’t graced TNA television screens yet, he confirmed discussions with the company during a recent interview. Outlining his future aspirations, Riddle shared:
“After my time with WWE, I felt compelled to take a step back from the demanding nature of television, particularly the unpredictability of live events like Monday Night Raw.”
“I’ve engaged in discussions with various promotions, including TNA, New Japan, and MLW. I’m inclined towards opportunities that provide a platform to showcase my skills on pay-per-view, free from the constraints of live TV.”
Riddle’s upcoming clash against NJPW legend Hiroshi Tanahashi at NJPW New Beginning on February 23 stands as a testament to his journey beyond WWE.
