Roberts discussed how politics can ruin his stories with Ultimate Warrior and Randy Savage:

“Warrior was fired” (when Jake turned on him). I saw the rug pulled out under me that was for certain. The run was taken away from me that time as well (when Jake’s cobra pounced on Randy Savage). The whole thing really upset me. Randy was getting a lot of stress at home, from his in-laws. They were ranting about what I did to Elizabeth and so they decided to get rid of the matter and take it off the air.”

On his storyline that he has not told Rick Martel at WrestleMania VII:

“I came up with it.” When asked about how clear he could discern through the fabric, Jake said “Very clear.”

The DDT becoming a standard move in wrestling:

“It doesn’t please me. I think it’s a waste of a great move, but there’s a lot of great moves that are being wasted today. You know, not just the DDT, but having said that, I hope they keep using it because every time they use it, it just brings my name back into the situation and that’s a good thing. That’s a good thing in the days of, you know, everything online, you get your name said. That’s all you need.”

The reason Dean Ambrose was smiling when Jake Jake placed the snake over him in an episode of Old School RAW in 2014:

“He’s laughing because CM Punk told him the snake sh*t on him, but he didn’t”
