Sting will retire in AEW Revolution 2024. Sting as well as Roberts have a bit of history from their brief stint during WCW from 1992. Roberts shared his thoughts about Sting’s retirement.

“He stretched it out for a long time,” Roberts declared. “He’s put more miles as I do. There’s a point at which you’re aware that it’s time to go and I think he’s aware the way he’s going. He’s been through a number of storms, and I believe it’s reached a point that he’s comfortable with being away from it. If he’s feeling like it is up to him.”

Roberts had to be asked what the most bizarre place was where he’s wrestled, and he said that he had wrestled in a department store in Japan. Roberts stated, “On top of a department store in Tokyo. We were about 25 floors up, so it was pretty odd and what makes it even crazier is there were only like 12 people there for a whole wrestling show. Then at the end of it, I found out that the owner of the building had requested a show for himself and his family, so he paid for it. I’ve got one more. It was a cockfighting compound. Literally, whenever you came up on this place, it was out in the sticks, down in the hollow, and when you came up on it, there was a large crow’s nest with automatic weapons. It was well guarded.”
