WWE Star Jey Uso Discusses Potential WrestleMania 40 Showdown Between The Rock and Roman Reigns
WWE sensation Jey Uso recently shared his thoughts on the much-anticipated showdown between two wrestling icons, The Rock and Roman Reigns, potentially taking place at WrestleMania 40.
The speculation began when The Rock made a grand return during the January 1 edition of WWE Raw, teasing a face-off with the current Undisputed WWE Universal Champion, Roman Reigns.
The possibility of this dream match has ignited fervent discussions among fans and critics alike. Questions have emerged regarding whether WrestleMania 40 should feature The Rock vs. Roman Reigns or if the coveted spot should be given to Cody Rhodes instead.
During an interview with Sony Sports Network, Jey Uso shared his perspective on the potential clash between The Rock and Roman Reigns. He expressed, “My reaction to The Rock wanting to be the Head of the Table? Money. That’s one match I think we all wanna watch.”
As a fan himself, Jey Uso admitted his eagerness to witness the epic encounter. However, he cautioned, “I just don’t think The Rock knows what he’s getting into when it comes to The Tribal Chief Roman Reigns.”
He emphasized the formidable support that Reigns has from The Bloodline, stating, “He’s got The Bloodline behind him. Rock has a big uphill battle, man. But yeah, we’re ready to see that.”
Notably, The Rock has been absent from WWE programming since his appearance on the “Day One” episode of Raw.
Meanwhile, Roman Reigns is set to defend his Undisputed WWE Universal Championship in a Fatal Four Way match against Randy Orton, LA Knight, and AJ Styles on Saturday, January 27, at the Royal Rumble.
