Kazuchika Okada’s Long-Awaited Return to TNA Wrestling Marks a 12-Year Reunion

Impact Wrestling has announced that the former IWGP World Heavyweight Champion Kazuchika Okada will be appearing in the brand new look of TNA Wrestling in January.

Okada who previously wrestled for the TNA/Impact Wrestling division, will appear at the event’s Snake Eyes event in 2024, which will take place on January. It will be his first appearance with the organization in more than 10 years.

Last time Okada wrestling at Impact took place in 2011,, when the pair faced Alex Shelley in a singles match. Recent reports indicate that the Japanese star’s contract with NJPW expires at the end of January as WWE looking to secure his signature. Aside from his work with NJPW the 36-year-old wrestled in three occasions with AEW over the past few years.

Okada doesn’t have to be the only NJPW star to be featured on Snake Eyes as another former IWGP World Heavyweight Champion, Will Ospreay, was recently confirmed to appear at the event. Impact Wrestling will be renamed TNA and being the Hard to Kill pay-per-view on January 13 as the first show to feature the TNA name again.
