A wrestler from the AEW roster has confronted Max Caster of The Acclaimed for his recent social media activity. Caster ignited a firestorm among fans by suggesting that AEW wasn’t interested in signing Shelton Benjamin, a former WWE star reportedly in talks with the promotion.
Shelton Benjamin himself responded to Caster’s remarks on Twitter, prompting another AEW talent to step into the fray.
Former AEW World Tag Team Champion Keith Lee entered the conversation on March 11, offering some advice to Max Caster. Lee urged Caster to speak for himself rather than assuming to represent others. He also warned Caster of potential repercussions if he continued with such behavior.
It’s important to note that Keith Lee has been absent from AEW action since December 2023 due to undergoing multiple surgeries.
