Kurt Angle opens up

WWE

Kurt Angle recently appeared on the True Geordie podcast, where the WWE Hall of Famer spoke about his life and professional career. In the interview, the Former WWE Champion discussed his retirement from professional wrestling and undergoing an issue with his mid-life due to it.

Angle’s last game

Angle was defeated by Baron Corbin in his farewell match at the WrestleMania 35 pay-per-view show held in East Rutherford, NJ, at MetLife Stadium. Angle has been open about his desire to have John Cena to be his retirement match, but Vince McMahon insisted it be Corbin this year because of their storyline and should Angle continued to wrestle for another year and he was able to get the opportunity to win to compete in the Cena match. But, Angle decided against it because of his body.

Angle’s achievements

Angle said that he’s reached the point in his life that every action he takes is frosting over the cake since there’s nothing else to achieve. He’s proudest of having overcome his addiction.
