In a recent episode of the “Kurt Angle Show” podcast the the WWE Hall of Famers Kurt Angle addressed WWE No Mercy 2000 which was hosted by him as well as The Rock.
Kurt Angle talking about Right To Censor:
“I didn’t think it worked. You know, here they are with the buttoned up shirts all the way up to the top, and, you know, they’re like, I don’t even know what kind of gang they were, but it was just, you know, they looked like a bunch of office guys trying to wrestle. I don’t know. I didn’t like it.”
Kurt Angle comparing the WWE Title to the Olympic Gold Medal:
“The Olympic Gold medal was the authentic one. Its WWF title is a fake. Now, don’t get me wrong. If you do take home in the World Championship, the company is confident in you and says that you’re among the best employees in the organization and being hailed with being one of the top wrestlers in the world is a great honor, but it’s important keep in mind that it’s an effort. It’s true that the Olympics were a shoot. There’s absolutely no way I can make a comparison between the WWF title with an Olympic Gold Medal. It’s not even close.”
