NWA Power episodes added to The CW streaming app

NWA Power is now available.

A few weeks back, NWA owner Billy Corgan announced they had signed two TV agreements with a “top 20 network.” The network was later revealed to be it was the CW Network.

The two shows that are scheduled to air are NWA Power and an actual TV show that will focus on the day-to-day business behind-the-scenes that is the NWA. It was quite a while developing since Corgan has been wanting to create an actual TV show for some time and had a chance to do it while directing RESISTANCE Pro-wrestling in Chicago after he made a deal with A&E to produce a reality show.

Concern

The contract was thrown in jeopardy after an unpopular moment in the NWA Samhain pay-per view. The moment was Jim Mitchel was at a table with women drinking alcohol. It seemed like Mitchell was taking cocaine off of the table before handing it out to everyone in the vicinity.

As we previously stated, the spot irked those within The CW, and there was a push from an official in The CW for NWA programming to be aired exclusively via The CW app rather than on TV. WWE has since signed a deal with The CW to launch NXT in the fall of 2024.

Episodes

The network added new episodes of the flagship show of NWA, Power, on Tuesday beginning with the episode of September 5 and running until the 24th of October. An official announcement regarding the partnership has yet to be announced.
