O’Reilly has been sidelined since June 2022, having undergone neck fusion surgery in September of the same year.
Recent reports have mentioned O’Reilly’s presence backstage at recent AEW events, leading to speculation among fans that he could be involved in the MJF storyline as one of the masked attackers. However, it’s essential to note that this remains speculative at this point.
As previously noted, O’Reilly faced challenges post-surgery but has been actively engaged in workouts with a strength and conditioning specialist.
Recently, O’Reilly shared a new post on his Instagram Stories, promoting the upcoming AEW Canada Tour 2024, set to commence on March 16 in Ottawa.
In the post, O’Reilly included his own caption: “I might be a wrestler again by this time,” accompanied by a fingers-crossed emoji.
The AEW tour will reach Vancouver, O’Reilly’s hometown, on May 11, 2024, for Collision.
