QT Marshall made the announcement of his resignation of All Elite Wrestling on Monday night, stating that he’d finish the year in the company with a promotion before quitting his job within the company.

Background

In his professional wrestling career Marshall has been employed by various promotions such as ROH in addition to WWE. Marshall is currently working for AEW as an entertainer and Vice President of creativity and talent. He is also working for AAA which was where he won his AAA Latin American Champion title in the beginning of his reign.

He is also the co-owner and trainer at The Nightmare Factory alongside Cody Rhodes and Glacier.

The choice

In an interview in an interview with Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer said that a few people were aware of the situation for a while, while others were aware of it over months while others were unaware that when he planned to quit.
