Randy Orton advertised for upcoming WWE SmackDown

Randy Orton is back.

WWE will not waste any time in capitalizing on the hype surrounding Randy Orton and his return to the WWE after a hiatus of over an entire year.

The return

Orton was injured since May of last year due to an injury to his back that caused him as well as Matt Riddle dropping the Raw Tag Team Championships to The Uses and The Uses, who unification of the championships. He later underwent back fusion surgery.

Orton, Seth Rollins, Sami Zayn, Jey Use along with Cody Rhodes beat The Judgment Day (Finn Balor, Damian Priest, Dominik Mysterio), Drew McIntyre & JD McDonagh in the men’s Battle Games on the night of Saturday during Survivor Series. In the Monday of WWE Raw, Orton worked his first singles match since returning in a match against Mysterio.

SmackDown appearance

Orton is currently being announced for Friday’s episode on SmackDown in his home at the Barclays Center in New York. It’s unclear if he’ll be as a guest or performing on a dark-match.

WWE has confirmed that United States Champion Logan Paul will make his WWE TV return on this show. It will be his first appearance since he defeated Rey Mysterio for the title at Crown Jewel.

Cody Rhodes vs. Mysterio and Rollins against. Shinsuke Nakamura are the local dark matches that are advertised as dark.
