A familiar face from the WWE universe made a surprise appearance backstage at tonight’s WWE Raw in Houston, Texas. Former WWE star AJ Francis, formerly known as Top Dolla, was spotted at the March 11 show, as reported by Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful.
Since his departure from WWE in 2023, Francis has been actively involved in the wrestling scene, making appearances in various independent promotions such as GCW, TNA Wrestling, and MLW.
It seems Francis felt the warmth of the WWE environment once again, as evidenced by his retweet of a photo featuring Triple H and Travis Scott from the event.
The night promised some electrifying action with a gauntlet match to determine the contender for the Intercontinental Championship at WrestleMania 40. The lineup included Chad Gable, Big Bronson Reed, Sami Zayn, JD McDonagh, Ricochet, and Shinsuke Nakamura, all eager to secure their spot.
Adding to the excitement, the intense feud between Becky Lynch and Liv Morgan escalated as they squared off once more. Lynch emerged victorious, setting the stage for her upcoming clash with Rhea Ripley at WrestleMania 40.
