Recent allegations against Booker T and his Reality of Wrestling (ROW) promotion have sparked controversy within the wrestling community. Former ROW talent, Raychell Rose, accused the promotion of mishandling a stalking incident involving ROW trainee Shawn Reed. Rose recounted an incident from December 2022 where Reed followed her to a bar after a ROW event, resulting in arrests.
Booker addressed these allegations on his podcast, “Hall of Fame,” offering his perspective on several of Rose’s claims. In response, Rose released a 13-minute video on her YouTube channel, addressing Booker’s statements.
Rose refuted Booker’s assertion that she neglected to address the stalking situation properly with ROW management. According to Rose, communication protocols dictated informing Kevin Bernhardt, who oversaw day-to-day operations, and Bernhardt assured her he would inform Booker and Sharmell.
Contrary to Booker’s claim that Reed had been issued a trespassing decree, Rose presented evidence suggesting otherwise. She referenced a conversation with the Texas City Police Department, where no documentation supporting Booker’s assertion was found.
Rose also contested Booker’s advice not to visit a bar where Reed was present, stating she was unaware of his presence. She clarified that her interaction with Booker outside the ROW venue was an attempt to contact the police regarding Reed.
Regarding the time lapse between the incident and her allegations, Rose emphasized that while ROW may have moved on, she continues to grapple with the situation daily. Despite her efforts to seek resolution with law enforcement and legal counsel, ROW’s lack of involvement has left her feeling isolated.
