REPORT: Warner Bros. Allowing John Cena’s Coyote Movie

John Cena had agreed to appear in “Coyote vs Acme,” an animated live-action hybrid and was filmed for the project in which he is his role as the Acme Corporation’s CEO.

As reported previously, Warner Bros. decided to put off the project indefinitely after having spent $70 million on it.

Dave Green directed the movie inspired by the classic Looney Tunes character Wile E. Coyote, a character from Warner Bros. Wile E. Coyote is a fictional character who fails repeatedly in his efforts to kill and capture his foe The Road Runner.

The film was shot in the year 2000 at New Mexico. The film’s description said that the film “will tell the story of a down-on-his-luck (human) attorney who takes on Wile E. as a client in his suit against Acme over its defective products, only to discover that his boss at his former law firm is representing Acme.”

Green is well-known for his work as director of Earth to Echo and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows. Chris Defaria and James Gunn created the film.

The project may be viewed to be a possibility Puck News reports that Warner Bros. has granted the film’s creators to market the film with other studios. The decision was taken after the backlash from the news that the film wouldn’t be made available for release.
