Following another wrist surgery, a timetable for the return of Bandido to the AEW Ring has been announced.
Bandido recently announced the fact that his 2nd procedure was successful, and he thanked his followers as well as Tony Khan for their support.
Dave Meltzer has now provided information regarding Bandido’s return wrestling within the Wrestling Watcher Newsletter and wrote:
Bandido was undergoing his second wrist operation on 12/16. As we’ve mentioned previously the left wrist of his patient was not healing properly after the first operation.
He was contemplating getting a surgery, but his wrist would be a mess for all the time on a wrist that was damaged.
The timetable for a return that we were told would be May, but we are I am hopeful that it will happen by April.
Bandido had a wrist injury in the month of June 2023, during the AEW Rampage during a match against Konosuke Takeshita.
He would later reveal that he’d broken his wrist just a few days after the injury. The first operation taking place in July.
On the 1st of December 2023, the doctor announced that the condition of his wrist ” still bad” and he was offered the option of having another operation or therapy.
Bandido was a part of his AEW debut on September 28, 2022. He then signed an agreement on the 11th of November of the same year.
