WWE Hall of Inductee Ric Flair was a guest on a show before the crowd on Rampage which was recorded following Dynamite and has been receiving some criticism regarding the promo.

According to the people present during the tapings, Flair spoke something like, “18-28 no boyfriends no husbands meet me at my hotel room.” Flair has employed a version of this in his commercials for decades but this time he’s receiving a lot of criticism regarding it through social media.

Flair made use of Twitter/X to apologize for Tony Khan and he said that if he’s causing embarrassment to the company, then he’s prepared to quit. Flair joined the company just a couple of weeks ago as in a contract that would promote the “Woro! Energy” drink. Flair has since said he’s signed an agreement for two years and he’ll be performing with Sting for Sting’s retirement tours.

In X, Flair posted the following:

“I Am So Tired Of Hearing All This Negativity! I Don’t Need To Work, And I Don’t Need The Money. Can’t I Simply Enjoy Being By My Dear Friend @Sting’s Side For The Next Few Months Without So Much Hatred? I Know I’m Old, But That Doesn’t Mean I Can’t Enjoy Life! I Have Earned The Right To Do Whatever I Want & I’m Exactly Where I Want To Be! I Appreciate Everything @TonyKhan, But I’m More Than Willing To Walk Away If I Am Embarrassing You And Your Company. All I Can Say Is I’m Sorry!”
