WWE is preparing for the final live event of its premium format of the year, Survivor Series on November 25th from Chicago, IL, at the United Center. WWE is also considering the return of one of the biggest names in recent history as Randy Orton.
Orton has been off the mat for a prolonged period of time despite doctors having advised that ex- WWE Champion not to continue with his professional wrestling career. The WWE Hall of Famer was off the ring since May of last year and has undergone back surgery fusion in the latter part of this year. He was seen in the Performance Center in Orlando, FL last month and it was clear that he was close to returning.
As reported previously, WWE is looking to bring him back to the stage at Survivor Series. WWE has approved brand new Orton products and brand prior to his return.
There was an rumor floating on social media suggesting that Orton was expected to take home a title upon his return. Sean Ross Sapp of Frightful Select claimed that this isn’t factual, as they’ve been told it was never discussed.
