Seth Rollins, the WWE World Heavyweight Champion, has once again reached out to Cody Rhodes through a video message following the latest edition of Monday’s Raw.
At WWE Royal Rumble 2024, Cody Rhodes emerged victorious in the Men’s Rumble by eliminating CM Punk, securing his second consecutive win.
During the January 29 episode of WWE Raw, Seth Rollins, the reigning World Heavyweight Champion, confronted Cody Rhodes. Rollins attempted to sway Cody’s decision, urging him to choose a WrestleMania 40 matchup against him instead of Roman Reigns.
Despite Rhodes indicating he needed time to consider, Seth Rollins persists in his efforts to convince the Royal Rumble winner.
On January 31, Seth Rollins took to social media to share a second video message directed at Cody Rhodes regarding his decision. The caption of the post reads:
“If your past has been your North Star, then the path to finishing your story is right in front of you. @CodyRhodes”
In the video, Rollins challenges Rhodes to envision whether he aspires to be a champion in the mold of Hulk Hogan or Dusty Rhodes.
Cody Rhodes has confirmed his appearance on this Friday’s February 2 edition of SmackDown.
