During the NXT Women’s Championship clash on February 13, featuring Shotzi from the WWE main roster against reigning champion Lyra Valkyria, the match took an unexpected turn when Shotzi suffered an injury.

The match, recorded after the latest NXT episode for airing on February 20, had to be stopped suddenly.

Reports from Fightful indicate that the match was paused due to Shotzi’s knee injury. She was subsequently escorted backstage for evaluation.

This injury appears to be genuine and not part of any planned storyline.

Shotzi was scheduled for an Elimination Chamber qualifying match against Tiffany Stratton on this week’s SmackDown, but her injury may prevent her from participating.

We extend our best wishes to Shotzi for a swift recovery.

The NXT tapings included two episodes, one aired with a one-hour delay on February 13, and another slated for broadcast on February 20.

These adjustments were made to accommodate NXT talent traveling to WWE’s premium live event in Perth, Australia on February 24.

The night concluded with a notable title change as Bron Breakker and Baron Corbin secured the NXT Tag Team Championship from Tony D’Angelo and Channing ‘Stacks’ Lorenzo.
