In WWE WrestleMania 38, Stone Cold Steve Austin made his in-ring return for the very first time in almost two decades, to beat Kevin Owens in a No Holds Barred main event.

This event was greeted with plenty of praise and positive feedback for the outstanding performance Austin did despite the long break from this squared-circle.

In an interview with Marc Raimondi of ESPN, Stone Cold Steve Austin revealed that he seen the game again and is confident that he could improve upon it. He added:

“I analyzed what I did and I am confident I can make improvements on my mistakes,”

“I promised myself that I’d never an engagement ring unless every star aligned. Somehow they all did. In my 57th year, I was the headliner on the opening evening of WrestleMania.”

“I did not think I would accomplish that. If you’d said that I would have was retired in [2003] I’d have replied “You’re crazy. ‘”

“So I’m not gonna stand here and deny everything because you’ve never said ever in this crazy world of entertainment for sports.”

He admitted how much he enjoys the business of pro-wrestling and acknowledging the addicting nature that comes with the thrill that is to wrestle, Austin said:

“I am a fan of the business of entertainment for sports more than anything else I’ve done in my life.”

“You receive a small dose of it and are craving more. Now I’m talking to you a couple of years later about trying it all over again. That’s the way it feels to me. I just want to discuss it. I am excited and then I’ll begin talking quickly.”

“But it’s unlikely to occur. However, it could happen.”

Stone Cold Steve Austin recently discussed the possibility of a CM Punk dream match.
