The show featured ‘Dealer’s Choice’ matches, allowing Swerve and Hangman Adam Page to select opponents for each other. Page, however, opted to keep his opponent’s identity shrouded in mystery, even though numerous references strongly hinted at Rob Van Dam’s involvement.
As the match unfolded, it was revealed that Swerve would face RVD in a hardcore match—a decision made by Hangman Adam Page. Despite a fiercely contested battle, Swerve Strickland emerged triumphant, pinning Rob Van Dam for the victory.
