Tammy Sytch sentenced to 17 years in prison in DUI manslaughter case

On Monday WWE Hall of Famer Tammy “Sunny” Sitch was sentenced following her conviction. She had plead not guilty to an criminal crime of DUI.

The arrest

On May 20, 2022, the woman was detained for the murder that of 75-year old Julian Lasseter in March 2022 during a traffic accident that occurred in Ormond Beach in Florida. She was charged with one charge of DUI inflicting death as well as one charge of causing death driving a car with an expired or suspended driver’s license and 4 counts of DUI inflicting injury on an individual or a person’s property, and three charges of DUI inflicting damages to the property.

In addition to her plea of guilty to criminal DUI leading to deaths, the defendant also agreed to plead no contest to a crime of driving with license suspended that caused death, four misdemeanor charges of DUI with damage to an individual and two misdemeanor counts of DUI that caused damage to property.

The sentence was 25 years, which is the longest sentence she could be facing. She was previously detained multiple times for driving under the influence.
