Post-match, HOOK received an endorsement from Hangman Adam Page, who, alongside Swerve Strickland, targeted Samoa Joe and the AEW World Championship. HOOK’s opportunity for the title came after a recent Twitter spat involving AEW’s Tony Khan and his criticism of Jinder Mahal’s World Heavyweight Championship match on Raw.
