The issue that caused Drew McIntyre to storm out of Survivor Series has dissipated WWE

Drew McIntyre update.

WWE

Drew McIntyre had been frustrated with WWE in the past because of his creative work and the length of his contract. It is scheduled for expiration in 2024. Drew McIntyre was once more angry over something that transpired during the Men’s Wargames Match on Saturday night, when The Judgment Day (Finn Balor, Damian Priest, Dominik Mysterio) McIntyre & JD McDonagh were defeated by Seth Rollins, Sami Zayn, Jey Use, Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton.

Previous issue

After the fight, McIntyre stormed out of the arena while he kept his eye until CM Punk’s music began before knocking down the locker room doors and walking out of the arena.

McIntyre was so agitated that, once McIntyre got to the back, it was an “loud and obvious situation” that was noticed by a number of people. This was a normal reaction that was not a storyline related.

Raw

In the Monday edition of Raw, McIntyre had a segment featuring Seth Rollins where he wanted to have a World Heavyweight Title shot. Rollins took the shot away to Jey Use, which led to McIntyre hitting Rollins.

McIntyre then appeared in an interview backstage along with Sami Zayn, leading to the possibility of a match next week on Raw and Rollins is scheduled to take on. Use for the title is scheduled for the same time slot.

PW insider says McIntyre was slashed in the face during the segment he was in with Rollins. It was a blunder most likely due to him catching the belt on his face. PW insider was informed by the police that “whatever happened at Survivor Series seemed to have dissipated, and McIntyre was in good spirits prior to the taping.”
